Mavs,

We are now in the district portion of our season. We believe a football season has four parts. The off-season, pre-district, district, and play-offs. Of course we have to play well in district play in order to get to the last part of the season. This past week all of the Maverick teams played well against Round Rock. It is always good to beat a fellow RRISD school. This week we will need to play really well to beat Cedar Park. They are extremely big and very aggressive. They are very well coached and it is there homecoming. We need all our Mavericks to play well.

It is also the end of the six weeks. We are hopeful that all the players did their best and maintain their eligibility. Great week for football. Get out and watch a Maverick team play. Plenty of games to go watch on Thursday and Friday nights.
